RIBA Enterprises to save six figures with Redstone’s cloud services

RIBA Enterprises, the knowledge business of the Royal Institute of British Architects, has become the latest customer to go-live with Redstone’s cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform.

RIBA Enterprises, already a long-standing customer of Redstone, is using IaaS to support its web environments. It is likely to save in excess of £100,000 in IT maintenance and hardware costs over the next three years.

Mark Warnock, Business Systems Manager at RIBA Enterprises said: “The move to virtualised hosting made perfect sense to us; virtualisation dramatically reduces our costs and provides levels of flexibility and resilience that we simply could not have afforded with physical machines. Redstone has been a true partner of RIBA Enterprises working closely in the migration from physical to virtual hosting."

Redstone’s Accelerated Alliance places vendor partners in pole position

Redstone has launched its ‘Accelerated Alliance’ sponsorship and business development package for vendor partners, after becoming title sponsor of the Motorbase Performance British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) team “Redstone Racing”.

A number of leading vendors including Brocade and Lancope are already signed up as sponsors, benefiting from a strategic marketing alliance including seminar sponsorship at Redstone’s customer symposium, lead generation campaigns and extra sales incentives for their solutions.

Redstone has also launched a dedicated Redstone Racing website for customers and fans to keep up to date with the latest news and information about the team and its sponsors
