New data centre will support Redstone’s expansion of cloud services

Redstone plc (AIM: RED.L) announces the completion of its new data centre in Hertfordshire to support the expansion of its cloud services and offer greater resilience for its customers’ mission critical services. The new Redstone data centre is located at Vtesse Cirrus’ Hertfordshire facility.
As well as supporting Redstone’s growth, the new facility will be a showcase for Redstone’s data centre expertise – allowing customers to visit and see the very latest technologies in action while also seeing decades of Redstone expertise at work.
Highlights of the new data centre include PCI and FSA compliance, energy efficient cooling, biometric security and integration into Redstone’s OneCard platform – offering single card access to any facility in an organisation.
“We build secure data centres on a regular basis for some of the world’s largest financial organisations, but we wanted to be able to demonstrate our capabilities to other clients,” said Matt Salter, Project Delivery Director. “Now we can demonstrate what we do to both present and future clients – and allow them to see just some of what’s achievable by working with Redstone and its technology partners.”
“We are delighted to welcome Redstone as a customer, “ said John Kersley, General Manager, Vtesse Cirrus. “We believe that the high density, redundant power available at our facility can only benefit Redstone’s customers as they move into the cloud.”
The facility is in an addition to Redstone’s existing four data centres in the UK and Netherlands.
